 Our
Babymoon classes were absolutely invaluable in
helping us to prepare for our first baby as though
we have nieces and nephews, both my husband and I
were clueless first timers when it came down to
actually having our own baby. The classes didn't
feel like lectures in any way as both Rebecca and
Mars have a really easy style to make it fun but you
came out afterwards realising that you understood
everything. But if you wanted to refer back to it,
there were comprehensive handouts covering
everything - the contents of which I found more
useful than any pregnancy book.
The girls-only breastfeeding class was really
informative. Like many first time pregnant mothers,
I was rather preoccupied with the birth and so to
have a class to fully understand how it works, and
how to help the baby get a good latch was hugely
helpful and I am still exclusively breastfeeding
four months on. I believe that the helpful
preparation given in class was instrumental in this.
The "labour rehearsal" was not only a great dramatic
performance worthy of an Oscar (!) but it also
helped us both to feel calm and confident as to what
to expect and when we needed to call the hospital
and how to make decisions during the labour itself.
I found myself looking forward to Tuesdays and
seeing Mars, Rebecca and the other couples, and
eating the delicious home-made cake provided. Mars
has also been hugely helpful with email advice
following the birth, which I wouldn't have got
elsewhere so the course really is fantastic value
for money.
I would not hesitate to recommend these classes
to anyone expecting a baby, first or otherwise. |

| Right from the beginning, Mars and
Rebecca set a fun and relaxing atmosphere in which
to empower us with the knowledge that we needed for
birth and the early months of parenthood. Mars'
physical demonstration of childbirth was a gem and
had us in stitches of laughter but proved very
insightful for us first time mums.
With their shared knowledge, Rebecca and Mars
were able to reassure and put our minds at ease with
birthing issues. The Baby Moon reference notes
proved invaluable, being used right from the onset
of labour and into the first stages of parenthood.
Refreshments and Mars lovely cakes, (yum yum), were
a treat especially for those of us coming direct
from work.
Once again their knowledge and support came into
play when we had feeding issues; we were able to
contact them and with their help established a new
feeding position and feeding routine which
immediately saw positive results.
Compared to many other parents-to-be we can
truthfully say that we actually enjoyed our
ante-natal classes!! Money well spent! |

| TheBabymoon classes were wonderful -
a perfect mix of information, advice and at the same
time great fun. Mars and Rebecca were great;
extremely knowledgeable, practical, reassuring and
happy to answer any questions - no matter how
foolish - plus there's always fantastic cake! I
would have no hesitation in recommending them to
anyone seeking an antenatal class. |
