We usually run our courses over two evenings or
weekend sessions. Each session lasts 2-3 hours and we will discuss with
you beforehand the particular topics you would like to cover. Most of
our clients like to discuss:

This will include: what is labour? How does labour work? The stages of
labour and discussion of different techniques for managing discomfort.
What happens when things don't go to plan.
Including the how and why of breastfeeding and dealing with any
Fatherhood and Becoming
Helping your partner through the delivery and
afterwards and how you can support breastfeeding. How your relationship
might change once the baby has arrived. Becoming a mother: your new
Caring for your
Arriving home with your new baby can be daunting. This session looks at
some of the practicalities of coping with and enjoying the challenges of
the first weeks.
Research shows that women
who attend antenatal classes cope better with labour and birth. Both
you and your partner will be more confident and in control.
