easily accessible from all areas of north London

Expecting a baby can be exciting, confusing, scary
and a time of joy. The Baby Moon is here to help you navigate these months
of pregnancy and the first months of parenthood. You will meet with
other couples who are in a similar situation to yourself and you will
find a safe to place to ask and have questions answered, to discuss and
to share and to find solutions together.

Week 1: Pregnancy
Pregnancy care, exercise and relaxation techniques
Week 2: Labour & Birth
This will include: what is labour? How does labour work? The stages of
labour and discussion of different techniques for managing discomfort.
What happens when things don't go to plan.
Week 3: Breastfeeding
Including the how and why of breastfeeding and dealing with any
difficulties.
Week 4:
Fatherhood and
Becoming a Mother
This week we look at helping your partner through the delivery and
afterwards and how you can support breastfeeding. How your relationship
might change once the baby has arrived. Becoming a mother: your new
role.
Week 5: Caring for your
new baby
Arriving home with your new baby can be daunting. This session looks at
some of the practicalities of coping with and enjoying the challenges of
the first weeks.
Week 6: Course Overview
This is your chance to re-cap on all the topics covered and ask any
unanswered questions. You can also use this time to be sure you have the
other course members details and book the reunion date into your diary.

Our classes are small
(maximum of 8 pairs), relaxed and informal, giving you plenty of
opportunities to ask questions.
